Job Summary:
This position will provide direct patient contact for assessment of swallowing, voice, and upper airway disorders covering the spectrum of outpatient diagnoses including dysphagia, dysphonia, upper airway disorders, gender dysphoria, and related disorders covering the spectrum from pediatrics to geriatrics. Will provide a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for dysphagia, dysphonia, and upper airway disorders in an interdisciplinary Laryngology clinic within the department of Otolaryngology.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, NYS licensure, clinical certification in Speech Pathology (or its equivalent) and completion of one year of clinical fellowship required. CPR/BLS certification required at time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer at least 1 year experience evaluating and treating patients in the areas of swallowing, voice, and upper airway disorders for the ENT population. Prefer previous medical, acute care, and/or outpatient hospital experience as well as working with residents in a teaching institution.
Work Days:
Monday- Friday days - No weekends, No holidays
