Job Summary:

The Stem Cell Clinical Lab Technologist performs technical processing tasks according to established procedures. Duties include quality control checks and lab maintenance in the Stem Cell Laboratory related to autologous and allogeneic stem cell products to treat bone marrow transplant patients. Assists in maintaining records for the stem cell lab and prepares appropriate documentation for processing and infusion records. Accurately performs calculations and reports cell doses. With minimal supervision, performs aseptic processing of cellular therapy products including but not limited to minimal manipulation, cryopreservation, thawing and product reinfusions.

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and 2 years clinical lab experience required. *Candidates with less than 2 years clinical laboratory experience will be considered for appointment to a commensurate title and salary. Excellent organization skills, communication skills, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of cell processing and aseptic techniques in cell therapy preferred. High attention to detail preferred.

Work Days:

M-F 8:00-4:30
