Job Summary:

The Student Accessibility Services and Testing Center Specialist is responsible for the strategic oversight, coordination, and daily management of the University's Testing Center and accommodated testing services. This position ensures the delivery of accessible, secure, equitable, and legally compliant testing accommodations for students with disabilities across all colleges within the University. The Specialist serves as the primary resource and liaison among faculty, students, Student Disability Services, and academic departments to facilitate testing accommodations, maintain academic integrity, and ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and institutional policies. The position is responsible for developing and implementing operational procedures, coordinating testing services across multiple colleges, administering the Accommodate case management system, training testing personnel, and establishing scalable systems to support the continued growth of testing services. May be asked to step in for director as needed, and will assist with data collection and records management. This role requires a high degree of independent judgment, problem-solving, technical proficiency, and operational leadership to manage complex accommodation requests, oversee confidential student information, respond to emerging student concerns, and maintain effective service delivery in a high-volume, compliance-driven environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience. Experience in a higher education or student support environment. Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills Ability to manage complex scheduling and high-volume operations with attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with disability services or testing accommodations Familiarity with ADA and Section 504 regulations Experience with assistive technologies and accessible testing environments

Work Days:

Primary hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm; Occasional availability between 7am - 6pm for special circumstances.
