Job Summary:
This Administrative Coordinator will coordinate the efforts of the Chief Wellness Officer, Associate Chief Wellness Officer, Wellness Officers in the academic departments and Upstate Well representatives in all hospital departments. Such duties will include providing information on Upstate Well activities and processes, participation in the Upstate Well Council and its agendas, travel arrangements, stewardship of the Recharge Room and Cube, scheduling and organizing all communal activities of Upstate Well and assisting with outreach projects of Upstate Well. Other duties include opening mail, responding to queries, maintaining schedules, scheduling appointments, taking minutes, preparing correspondence, maintaining and organizing files, etc. The position also: assists with the capital procurement and PCC processes, including tracking progress of PCC and Strata requests; monitors and tracks operational and grant budgets for the CWO; coordinates Upstate Well projects, including project management, complex logistics, and program evaluation; identifies new areas of opportunity and grant funding; builds and maintains relationships with program facilitators, peer supporters, council members and all Upstate workers and learners; and serves as a liaison between key constituencies, such as other internal departments, medical staff, executive team and external agencies. The Administrative Coordinator solves multi-level challenges and uses independent judgment in answering questions, straightforward decision making and handling low to mid-level day to day issues without direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a related field with a minimum of three years of administrative experience OR Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of one year of administrative experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, analytical, computer and multi-tasking skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field and experience in a health care environment preferred.
Work Days:
M- F, 8 AM-5 PM

The estimated salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000, dependent upon qualifications.
