Job Summary:

The After Office Hours Psychologist/Program Director position is dedicated to providing high quality of care to a diverse outpatient population of children, adolescents and families in the Upstate Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (AIOP). This position will provide program direction and direct patient care services. The Program Director is responsible for implementing and overseeing the clinical coordination and treatment management of IOP patients. Additional responsibilities include providing day-to-day supervision of the clinical staff. Will assess the clinical needs of patients, recommend, and deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions, including individual and group psychotherapy. Consultation and coordination of care with schools and outside providers as needed. Works in a multi-disciplinary setting that includes psychiatrist, psychologist, clinical social workers and nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD or PsyD and NYS licensed (or eligible) Psychologist required. Experience working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy required. Mental health experience working with child & adolescent patients required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Program Director in an Ambulatory setting and/or acute care setting preferred. Preferred candidate will be Dialectical Behavior Training (DBT) trained.

Work Days:

Evenings and weekends

The full-time salary range for this position is $145,000–$165,000, depending on education and experience. Additional compensation has been factored into account for evening and weekend shifts.

This position may be eligible for student loan repayment options and is located at a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) - National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site.
