    Job Summary: The Anesthesia Associate will perform routine repetitive procedures related to the cleaning, stocking and set-up of anesthesia machines and drug carts. The position will also perform routine set-up and simple maintenance of various diagnostic devices, systems may include physiological monitoring equipment and pressure transducers, routine troubleshooting procedures on a variety of physiological monitoring systems and support devices, provide support for higher level technical functions by assisting with airway management, urgent/emergency procedures, with the expectation of taking emergency on call and weekend coverage as assigned by the Chief Anesthesia Technician. Minimum Qualifications:

    Associates Degree in a health-related profession (will consider other degrees with relevant coursework) or equivalent combination of education and experience and good communication skills required. Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR required. EMT/Advanced EMT may be considered.          

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Operating room protocol experience, knowledge and understanding of aseptic technique Experience as an Anesthesia Technician/Technologist strongly preferred.

    Work Days:

    Rotating Shifts, On-Call as needed, to include nights and weekends
