Job Summary:
The Division of Hematology and Oncology at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, is recruiting talented physicians at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor for its continuously expanding division.
We are looking for candidates who have an interest in all solid tumors well as benign and malignant hematology. General Hematology and Oncology physicians are also being considered for our satellite locations.
This is an excellent opportunity at an academic medical center with responsibilities that include clinical care, teaching, and the development and management of research studies. Our fellowship program was recently approved for an expansion to 6 fellows a year for a total of 18. Our faculty are part of various and growing multi-disciplinary programs, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to lead these programs in a disease-focused area. Faculty in the Division practice at the Upstate Cancer Center and its satellite clinics in the community. The Upstate Cancer Center is the regions most comprehensive resource for cancer care, offering advanced outpatient treatment, clinical research studies, and support services. Upstate University Hospital is a 752-bed teaching hospital that provides specialized care in Syracuse, New York. It is affiliated with the Norton College of Medicine and is a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
MD/MBBS, BC/BE in Oncology and/or Hematology and NYS license or eligible.

Monday through Friday daytime hours with rotating on-call
