Job Summary:

The Exercise Physiologist specializes in the application of scientific knowledge/theory related to exercise physiology and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Administers exercise testing, formulates exercise prescriptions, designs supervised and home exercise programs, leads/supervises exercise training sessions. Assists with education. Gives presentations. Maintains exercise testing/training equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field and one year of experience Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. CPR/BLS Certification required by time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology. ACSM certified Exercise Specialist. Familiar with operation or equipment used in cardiopulmonary stress testing. ACLS Training preferred.
