Job Summary: The MDA Coordinator serves as a patient liaison between the patient and the MDA interdisciplinary team which may include multiple physicians, residents, nurses and other ancillary services such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Social Work. The coordinator will coordinate care team member activities during MDA clinic; assist patients with various forms, medical equipment needs and MDA clinic expectations. Responsibilities include maintaining patient databases and registries. Individual will work directly with the MDA Care Center Director on annual reporting, grant applications and MDA materials. Will attend MDA special events as needed. Individual will be responsible for setting up and taking minutes for care team meetings. Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree and one year of experience or three years of administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working in a clinic/doctors office and knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.  Must have excellent customer service skills and strong computer skills.
