Job Summary:

Incumbent will be responsible for Lymphocyte subset analysis, stem cell analysis and leukemia/lymphoma analysis in flow cytometry laboratory, maintenance and quality control, performing new test development and teaching Med Tech students, CP residents and fellows.

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and 2 years clinical lab experience required. Excellent computer skills required. *Candidates with no clinical lab experience or with a NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technician will be considered for appointment to a commensurate title and salary. Candidates with a BS degree in Natural Sciences may be considered for a commensurate title and salary; these applicants must apply for a restricted license and complete a 1 year training program in Flow Cytometry. Ability to distinguish colors required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Flow Cytometry experience preferred

Work Days:

M-F 8:30-5:00 Flexible hours up to 24 hours per week
