Job Summary:

Mental Health Therapy Aides work in mental health facilities and medical centers and perform a variety of tasks related to the care, nurturing, treatment, education, socialization, habilitation, recovery, healing, and support of individuals diagnosed with a mental illness and developmental disabilities. Incumbents support, instruct, and assist individuals in developing the necessary skills to attain personal goals, live, be educated, work, and socialize successfully in the community. Provide behavior therapy to children and related developmental disabilities under the guidance of licensed clinicians. 

Ability to physically manage patients.  

Minimum Qualifications:

For consideration for this title, you must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:

1: Graduated from high school or have earned a high school equivalency diploma (such as a GED)

Schedule based on 40 hour work week. Various Shifts Available

Salary:  $46,819 with a $4,000 GEO
