Job Summary:
Specific services to include diagnostic assessment, treatment, and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary treatment team model. Approximately 50% time spent in outpatient care in the University Hospital Outpatient clinics. The remaining 50% will involve psychiatry training experiences(inpatient, consultation) while assigned to a short call emergency psychiatry rotation designed to give more psychiatric triage and disposition experience. Included in this training are didactic introductory classes for psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Caseload will allow for minimum two hours per week of in-person supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered NP (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice). Must have NPI number, DEA certification, medical malpractice insurance and be Medicare enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification through AANP or ANCC, and Master's Degree). Initial certification must be present or obtained within 6 months of hire. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
