Job Summary:

Recruiting for Community Psychiatry Fellowship Positions

Outpatient and community work with underserved populations.

Fellows will learn how to deliver high-quality outpatient care for patients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Candidates will learn psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, harm reduction, and buprenorphine maintenance. Close supervision and didactic material provided by SUNY Upstate Faculty.

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice). Must have NPI number and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) OR be eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire (eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification through AANP or ANCC, and Master's Degree) (eligibility criteria for PA requires graduation from an accredited PA program and National Certification through NCCPA).

Initial certification must be present or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

L4: $75,392 - $120,627

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
