Job Summary:
  • Optimize teaching methods for instructors with a student focus
  • Available for AHA class management and teach if necessary
  • Continued equipment support and maintenance
  • Understand trends in adult learning/training and create presentations to peers
Minimum Qualifications:
  •  Bachelors degree or higher
  •  2 Years EMS experience and 2 years education in a medical setting or similar experience.
  • Must be qualified to be a BLS instructor within 6 months of hire
  •  Knowledge and experience in working with AHA
  •  Experience in Word, Excel, and Power Point or equivalent
  •  Excellent organizational skills
  •  People/problem solving skills and diplomacy
  •  Must be able to lift a 50 lb. manikin
Preferred Qualifications:
  •  Knowledge of data bases or data base management
  •  Basic repair skills of equipment
  •  Bachelor's or higher level degree preferred
Work Days:

Self scheduling with some restrictions start times for classes can be as early as 7:00 a.m. A few classes each year will start at 4:00 p.m. ending about 8:00 p.m.

L1: $60,406 - $64,272

Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
