SUNY Upstate is seeking A clinical psychologist to join the Adult Nappi Behavioral Health Service. Responsible for all aspects of therapy and psychological assessment, including case formulation, diagnosis, case management and presentation and report writing. Develops with the patient/family an individualized plan of care that addresses age specific, physical, psychosocial, cultural and educational needs and modifies the plan as patient status changes. Documents and communicates expected outcomes with all members of the Interdisciplinary Team, patient and family to foster identification of patient centered, measurable and time estimated goals. Clinical psychology position dedicated to a diverse and often at risk out-patient population. Part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, psychologists and trainees.
Ph.D. or Psy.D. and NYS license (or eligible) Psychologist required but must receive license within 1 year of employment. *If currently unlicensed, a limited permit is required.
Previous experience within a hospital setting. Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) desired
