Job Summary:

Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit

Minimum Qualifications:

RN licensure as outlined by NYS Education Department. Meets NYS Civil Service requirements. Current CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

This position is for a day/eve shift RN, working a combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts. Prior Labor and Delivery experience required. The role includes orientation to all areas of the Family Birth Center, including Labor and Delivery, L&D OR, Postpartum, Extra Care Nursery, and scrub duties. Candidates should be flexible, team-oriented, motivated, and committed to providing compassionate care across the full spectrum of maternal and newborn services.

Days/Evenings/Rotating Weekends/Holidays
