Job Summary: Team Lead Duties
  • Collaborates with Office Manager to ensure clinic policies are followed
  • Maintains office and clinic supply inventory and orders when needed
  • Tracks and schedules patient appointments according to the VQI Registry
  • Maintains STS standards
  • Monitors clinic confirmation calls
  • Trains all new clinic staff
  • Reviews new patient referrals and disseminates appropriately
  • Liaison between inpatient and outpatient staff
  • Administrative Medical Assistant
  • Processing cardiac & vascular calls and disseminating to appropriate departments/provider/staff
  • Scheduling appointment in EPIC
  • Patient Registration
  • Tracking and coordinating genetic patients & clinical trail
  • Schedule procedures
  • Managing providers clinic schedule
  • Template Building
  • Process new patient referral and triaging based on medical necessity
  • Process outgoing referrals
  • Coordination of surgical pre-operative clearance appointments
  • Liaison between surgical instrument representative and institute. Ordering devices when appropriate
  • Downloading/Uploading Medical Images into computer software
  • Rooming patients and entering medical history into EPIC
  • Responding to patient calls at the direction of the provider or set protocol
  • Collaborate with doctors and nurses to help with medical examinations, schedule tests and order supplies for clinics
  • Assist with minor office procedures
  • Assist in blood collection for genetic testing
  • Ensure compliance with office procedures
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in medical and insurance legislation
  • Chart Abstraction/Prep
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field and 2 years related experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to management multiple priorities, excellent communication and computer skills. Must be able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a medical office environment and knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, EPIC and Medical terminology preferred. HIPAA, authorizations and referrals processing is beneficial. Work Days:

Monday - Friday 7:3- am - 4:00 pm
